Hello, everyone, my name is Robert Drulia. I am the Executive Chef of The Lazy Ballerina Bistro. I truly enjoy cooking. It is a skill of passion, a labor of love and a true performance art. However, I didn't always want to be a Chef. Growing up, I always wanted to be a writer.

This cute little house has stood on Manatee Avenue for over One Hundred years. Old Bradenton is rich in history, especially along The Manatee River, which we stand directly adjacent to, and many famous names and faces are said to have been through these doors at one time or another. This building has been a flower shop, a coffee shop and a home to many many great southerners alike.

In an effort to combine my two passions, I have made it my life's work to document the entire catalog of guests who have been sighted staying in the Guest Bedroom over the years.
